Naile Ivegin is a versatile player who can feature in a few positions, either utilising the small forward spot on the wings or inside, and do some damage in the paint as a power forward. Predominantly an inside player who has a good mid-range game, she uses her body to good effect under the basket and can find many different ways to score . If she doesn't have the ball in her hands, you can expect to see her crashing the offensive glass to good effect to secure plenty of second chance opportunities for her team. Ivegin played a limited role coming off the bench at EuroBasket Women 2009 and could find herself making this kind of valuable contribution once again. She has played in EuroCup Women and EuroLeague Women as a 17-year-old back in 2002 at a time when she was regularly playing for Turkey in the various youth categories. |
