Florence Lepron

Career: INSEP (France-NF1, 2000-03), Tarbes (France-LFB, 2003-06), Bourges (France-LFB, 2006-07)

"Flo" is a typical French product, bred between the walls of the INSEP. She has a great first step, loves to run, attack the basket and play defense.  She had great success with the U20 French National Team, winning the gold at the 2005 European Championship. But, like many French players, Lepron needs to improve her outside shooting skills. "When I'm joking, I say I have the worst jump shot in LFB (French league)", she said two years ago when she was still playing in Tarbes.  She has spent time working on the problem but Lepron is still far from a reliable threat.  The lack of aptitude from outside did not stop her from signing with Bourges and developing her game. She can play either the one or the two position and has progressed towards the end of the season, taking over after Céline Dumerc's injury during the playoffs of the French League and managing to lead Bourges to the finals.
