There was heartache for the forward in France two years ago as she sustained a horrific injury in the first game of the competition. Fully recovered after navigating the long road back which ended just in time to step out at the FIBA World Championship for Women last year, Vesela could be about to step out in what would be an astonishing eighth Final Round appearance. She maybe suffered a little last year in Turkey for a lack of court time after her period of rehabilitation, but her rugged style and rebounding prowess is always welcome. She likes to make jump-shots or slash to the hoop rather than getting down low with her back to the basket and always brings energy to the table. A veteran leader who remains part of the core rotation, she can still be a formidable defensive player for her country - as well as showing in the EuroLeague Women Final that she can also still score when it matters too.
