It has been a decade since Janicenoks made his international debut for Latvia and the fact that Group D play of EuroBasket 2015 will take place in Riga makes the anniversary even more symbolic. The 32-year-old swingman has been an essential part of the national team in all four EuroBasket tournaments he has participated in and the upcoming edition is unlikely to be any different. A great three-point shooter and a versatile offensive player, he was Latvia's top scorer at EuroBasket 2013, averaging 11.5 points per game. Not shy of the big moment, he's been the national team's safety valve in late game situations, sinking Montenegro two years ago with a game-winning shot from the corner. After winning three Latvian championships with VEF Riga, Janicenoks moved to Ventspils for the 2014-15 campaign, falling short to his former team in the LBL Finals.
