One of the most consistent performers for the National Team for many years, Christophe Beghin is one of the key players for Belgium. He adds veteran leadership and is an excellent scorer and rebounder with a great track record at the elite level having harvested double digit returns during the last four successive EuroBasket Qualifying campaigns. Last summer was no different and at 31-years-old, he shows no signs of slowing down his production. He is a versatile forward with great strength who is happy either facing the basket or backing down while his leaping ability helps him to work the glass to great effect. He can also handle the ball well for a big man, makes baseline jumpers consistently and will be a vital part of the Belgian team at EuroBasket 2011 as he is a competent defensive presence as well. |
