PLAYER HISTORY
Krissy Bade

Career: INSEP (France-NF1, 1995-98), Rennes (France-LFB, 1998-99), Villeneuve-d'Ascq (France-LFB, 1999-2002), Montpellier (France-LFB, 2002-04), Mondeville (France-LFB, 2004-06), Valenciennes (France-LFB, 2006-07)

Bade was not part of the team that finished fifth at EuroBasket Women 2005 but she was on the starting five for France s few times last summer for the World Championship.  Alain Jardel, the former head coach, loved her defensive presence as she is extremely athletic, with a big wingspan, and can match up with any outside player. She frequently is given the assignment of shutting down the best player on the other team. On offense she will never be a great threat mainly because it’s not her mindset. Her shot from the perimeter is accurate, and she can also drive to the basket but does not really look for it in general. Bade is a role player who is invaluable to have in the rotation.
