One of the last two players of the team that won silver at the U20 European Championship way back in 2000 to still play with the national team, Green is now in a different phase of his career. He is a veteran at the age of 33 that may have lost some of his athleticism but covers for that with experience. In his past rounds with Israel at EuroBasket, Green managed to make a name for himself. During 2003, he led the tournament in field goal percentage inside while two years later, he was the best rebounder and fourth best shot blocker. In 2009 he averaged 18 points-per-game, but that was the last time he really shined. Nowadays, with Israel's constant need for bigs, Green is still strong and aggressive in his play, but will come off the bench to do a veteran's job.
