Bostjan Nachbar - EuroBasket 2013 Profile

Team 2012-13: Brose Baskets Bamberg (Germany-BBL)
Career: Ovni Maribor (Slovenia-1A, 1995-97); Union Olimpija (Slovenia-1A, 1997-98); Lumar Maribor (Slovenia-1A, 1998-99); Pivovarna Lasko (Slovenia-1A, 1999-00); Benetton Treviso (Italy-Lega, 2000-02); Houston Rockets (USA-NBA, 2002-05); New Jersey Nets (USA-NBA, 2005-08); Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2008-09); Efes Pilsen Istanbul (Turkey-TBL, 2010-11); Unics Kazan (Russia-Superleague, 2012), Brose Baskets Bamberg (Germany-BBL, 2012-13)

A combo forward with a deadly shooting stroke, Bostjan Nachbar is a decent athlete, being very smooth and mobile but not especially quick or explosive. Has very good scoring instincts and excellent size for the small forward position, which makes him a solid mismatch threat. His game is clearly centred on his perimeter jump shot, which boasts excellent form and consistency, with a high and quick release. Although he prefers to play small forward, in the past few seasons he was more often used as a four and was quite successful in this role. For instance, he was the second-best scorer in this past season's Euroleague, scoring 16.1 points-per-game at the "4" position. With Erazem Lorbek missing this summer, it is likely we will see this former NBA player at power forward.
