Dimitra Kalentzou is an experienced player who continues to be one of the most influential members of the Greek team and has been for over a decade. A playmaker who thrives whether dropping triples from downtown or conjuring up assists, she can get the job done herself or help her teammates to shine. Despite now being 33-years-old, she has not skipped a beat and remains as competitive and productive as ever. For Sony Athinaikos, she finished with the most points and steals per game during last season's EuroCup Women campaign to further underline how she is still very much performing at both ends of the court. While she has played her entire career in the Greek league and not been tempted enough to take up any offers elsewhere, she has won many trophies and personal accolades. She finished with her best assist ratio at EuroBasket Women 2009 where she averaged 4.1 dimes per game and she continued her strong play last year in the Czech Republic.
