The 35-year-old may not have had her best shooting performance during qualification last summer, but showed just how important her experience is, having energy left in the tank to play over 26 minutes-per-game. A born leader, she can play anywhere in the frontcourt and is an excellent defender with a very strong help-side game. She also runs the floor very well for a post player and can block shots and come up with key steals due to almost two decades playing the game. Whilst her points production may have slowed slightly in recent seasons, her basketball brain is quicker than ever and stepping out in France could be a deserved swansong for decorated player who has given great service to her country, stretching right back to 1997 when she played at her first EuroBasket Women final round.
