Poland, Bulgaria and Sweden enjoyed winning starts to the additional qualifying round for the EuroBasket Women on Wednesday. The Poles, who narrowly missed out on automatic qualification, won 68-63 in Group A at Finland but they found themselves in danger of being upset at the end of the third quarter after Taru Tuukkanen buried a three-pointer to give the hosts a 52-46 lead. |
