Beretta-Famila Schio survived a tense finish to stay alive in their EuroLeague Women Eighth-Final tie with Sparta&K M. R. Vidnoje, winning 66-64.
Having lost the first meeting 65-60, Schio had no margin for error as the game moved into the final two minutes with the scores tied at 60-60 following Janel McCarville's jump-shot.
But McCarville's basket proved to be the start of a 6-0 burst as Isabelle Yacoubou-Dehoui made a jump-shot and Liron Cohen took advantage of a turnover to make it 64-60 with a lay-up.
Epifaniya Prints drained a three-pointer with 21 seconds left, and when Cohen missed a lay-up, the hosts might have been in trouble.
But Yacoubou-Dehoui came up with the rebound and made a jump-shot to push the advantage back to three.
Taj McWilliams went to the line for Sparta&K with four seconds left, making the first then deliberately missing the second, but Yacoubou-Dehoui came up with another crucial rebound as Beretta hung on.
Yacoubou-Dehoui led Beretta with 19 points and eight rebounds - none more important than the final two.
Laura Macchi added 12, McCarville 11 and Raffaella Masciadri 10.
The visitors wasted 26 points from Prints, while McWilliams had 11 and seven rebounds.
