Anna Vajda has cut short her time at unbeaten Fenerbahce and signed for another EuroLeague Women outfit, ZVVZ USK Prague.
The Hungary international, who will bolster a Prague squad that has lost Czech international Michaela Ferancikova to injury, is the third high-profile player to leave the Istanbul giants Fener in January.
The United States superstar Diana Taurasi had her contract at Fener terminated at the beginning of the month after she tested positive for a banned substance and Australia's Penny Taylor, the MVP of the 2006 FIBA World Championship, left the team after its win over Lotos Gdynia on January 13.
Vajda, 26, has joined Prague until the end of the season.
"The arrival of Anna Vajda is a response to injured Misha Ferancikova," said Prague general manager Marek Kucera on the club's website.
"We talked to four players and ultimately the choice fell upon Anna.
"She is an all-round basketball player who can play both positions three and four."
Prague will take on Group A winners Cras Basket Taranto in the Eighth-Final Play-offs, which tip off on February 1.
Meanwhile, unbeaten Fenerbahce will go up against Galatasaray. Tammy Sutton-Brown has been linked with the Turkish club.
