Bojan Subotic scored 21 points to lead Serbia to a 76-67 victory over previously undefeated Lithuania in Group F of the U20 European Championship.

Lithuania missed three-pointers in the final minute trying to come back in falling to 2-1 despite 15 points from Simas Buterlevicius and 12 each from Sarunas Vasiliauskas and Zygimantas Janavicius.

Adas Juskevicius added 10 points for Rimvydas Samulenas's team but star center Donatas Motiejunas was held to just two points in 25 minutes of action.

Stefan Stojacic scored 13 points and Aleksandar Mitrovic chipped in 10 points and six rebounds for Slobodan Klipa's Serbian team, which is now 1-2 in Group F.

The game was knotted at 11-11 before Stojacic sandwiched three-pointers around a long ball by Stefan Bircevic in an 11-0 run for a 22-11 lead. And the gap was still 24-14 after one period.

Stojacic nailed two more triples in an 11-3 Serbian surge for a 42-23 advantage, which was 44-27 at intermission.

Lithuania closed within 51-38 before Serbia pushed the margin back to 17 points and it was 61-46 after three periods.

Janavicius and Vasiliauskas each hit long balls as Lithuania opened the fourth quarter on a 10-0 run to make it 61-56. Another Vasiliauskas triple cut the deficit to just 66-63. But the Serbs went on a 10-2 spurt which saw Vasiliauskas, Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Juskevicius all miss long balls in the final 56 seconds.
