Hainaut, Arras Quarter-Final Bound

Gabriela Marginean led the charde for Arras as the 2011 finalists marched on to the next round

Hainaut Basket and Arras marched into the next stage of the EuroCup Women with wins in the Eighth-Finals on Wednesday.

Hainaut prevailed for the second week in a row over Dexia Namur, 77-59.

Amisha Carter had 21 points and 12 rebounds in the victory that put Hainaut into the Quarter-Finals.

Hainaut had won the first leg in Belgium, 69-63.

Arras, who romped to a 73-50 victory at Basket Landes last week, prevailed 55-45 at home over Landes on Wednesday.

Gabriela Marginean had 15 points for Arras while France international Marion Laborde poured in eight points and corralled nine boards in defeat for Basket Landes.
