Veteran Irena Vizbariene chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds in the win

Dynamo Kursk completed a two-game sweep of Jolly JBS Euroline with a 66-59 win on Wednesday night to finish top of EuroCup Women Group E.

The Russian outfit blew the game wide open in the first quarter by outscoring the Croatian club 26-12.

Jolly dug in their heels and fought back, even closing the gap to 55-50 with 6:30 to go in the game on a three-pointer by Marta Cakic.

Michelle Snow scored four consecutive points to settle the Kursk nerves.

Irena Vizbariene, an important member of the Sony Athinaikos team that won the EuroCup Women last season, had 14 points and seven boards for Kursk.

Snow also ended up with 14.

Petra Stampalija poured in 16 points for Jolly JBS.

Dynamo Moscow showed no mercy against Petrolina AEK, winning 105-50 in Russia for a fourth consecutive victory in the competition.

Anna Mikheeva scored 16 points as Dynamo sent the visitors to a fourth straight defeat.

Nantes Rezé were too much for Saarlouis Royals, winning 83-55 in Germany.

Mélanie Plust finished with 19 points for the French team, which is now 5-1.

A French team also won in Group I as ESB Lille Metropole thrashed hosts Lotto Young Cats, 65-52.

Olayinka Sanni had herself a fine night for Lille, scoring 26 points and pulling down 14 rebounds.

ESB have stormed into the next phase with a perfect 6-0 record.

Lotto Young Cats fell to 2-4.

MKB Ruzomberok also won in Group I, beating Olivais Coimbra 75-54 in Slovakia.

Ruzomberok finished second in Group I while their Portuguese opponents lost all six of their games.

France also celebrated a win in Group K as Arras clinched a 56-50 win over Dexia Namur.

Johanne Gomis, who played for France at the FIBA World Championship for Women this summer and is a burgeoning star in the country, had 14 points.

Dexia's defeat was a fourth in as many games and left them bottom of the pool.

Arras and Reyer Venezia each finished 3-1 but the French team clinched first place in the group due to a superior goal differential.

Gran Canaria of Spain were also winnings, prevailing at BBC Sint-Katelijne-Waver 79-72.

The Canary Islanders wrapped up a perfect 4-0 campaign in Group L while BBC Sint-Katelijne-Waver finished third.
