Montenegro Sink Lithuania In Final

Montenegro overturned a first-quarter deficit to beat Lithuana 83-64 in the final of U20 European Championship Women Division B on Sunday.

Snezana Aleksic paced the victors with 22 points, with 13-point hauls from Laima Rickeviciute and Vitalija Vasciunaite leading the way in a losing cause for Lithuania.

Lithuania Too Much For Portugal, Montenegro Beat Great Britain

Hosts Lithuania will face Montenegro in the final of the U20 European Championship Division B.

The local women proved far too good against Portugal in a semi-final which they won 78-58.

Semi-finals Set

Johannah Leedham inspired Great Britain to a 76-66 victory over Poland on Friday to clinch a semi-final date with Montenegro in the U20 European Championship Women Division B.

Leedham poured in 27 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the triumph, to render Joanna Zalesiak's game-high 30-point haul meaningless.
