Wednesday night is not a bad time for Triumph Lyubertsy to take on Spartak Saint Petersburg in the Russian PBL.
Spartak are fourth in the PBL standings and Triumph, who currently lie in fifth place with two games in hand, can overtake them if they win tonight's game.
The Saint Petersburg outfit will be in the Eurocup Finals this weekend, so they could be forgiven if they are not 100% focused on the clash.
Vasily Karasev, the Triumph coach, doesn't expect to encounter a Spartak side that is lacking concentration, though.
"Since the beginning of the season, Spartak have been a solid, well-equipped team with a good selection of foreign and Russian players," he said.
"Spartak recently won big against Krasnye Krylia Samara and Unics Kazan and fought a worthy battle against CSKA Moscow.
"Our opponents play tenacious defense, so we must be aggressive take good shots and not settle for bad ones."
As for Patrick Beverley, a first-team all-Eurocup selection, Karasev said: "He is the most outstanding leader of Spartak but don't forget about players like (Yotam) Halperin, (Valery) Likhodey, (Vladimir) Dragicevic.
"In general, Jure Zdovc has many experienced players at his disposal."
