Turkey Run Away From Ukraine

Turkey remained alive in the hunt for a top-four finish in their group by running away from Ukraine 85-69 at the U18 European Championship Men.

Melih Mahmutoglu poured in 22 points while Mükremin Kilicli had 18 points and 12 rebounds and Enes Kanter collected 14 points and 14 rebounds as Turkey improved to 2-3 in the Qualifying Round Group F.

France Bounce Back To See Off Turkey

France bounced back from a tough loss to cruise to an 83-64 victory over Turkey at the U18 European Championship Men as Alexis Tanghe led the way with 22 points.

Andrew Albicy collected 12 points, seven rebounds and 13 assists while Nicolas Lang and Miguel Buval both added 12 points and Paul Lacombe added eight points and 10 rebounds for Philippe Ory's team.

Kanter Not Enough As Russia Overcome Turkey

Russia withstood a powerful Turkish inside one-two punch to collect an 82-72 victory in Group F of the U18 European Championship Men.

Pavel Antipov tallied 22 points to pace Russia while Maxim Grigoryev added 19 and Vladimir Pichkurov had 18 in helping Alexey Vadeev's team move to 2-1 in the Qualifying Round.
