Ural Great defeated Khimik 80-67 in the first game of the EuroCup Challenge finals played in Ukraine thanks to an 11-1 run over the final seven minutes of the game.
After Khimik cut Ural Great’s lead to three at 69-66 with seven minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Vadim Panin scored on a dunk, Vasily Karasev connected on a three-pointer and Jurica Golemac hit a jumper and a pair of free-throws over the next three and a half minutes to allow Ural Great to open up a 78-66 lead with 3:35 remaining. |
