Hosts Latvia finished off their Qualifying Round action at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women with a convincing 85-65 victory over Ukraine in Group F.
Sabine Niedola collected 17 points and 12 rebounds in leading four players in double figures scoring as Latvia improved to 2-3 to take fourth place in the group and play in the 5th-8th place games.
Olesya Malashenko continued her dominant performance at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women in collecting 38 points and 23 rebounds in Ukraine's 80-71 victory over Belgium in Group F of the Qualifying Round.
Malashenko remains the leading scorer of the tournament (24.4 points) and moved to second in rebounding (14.6) after collecting her third double-double in five games for Ukraine.
Defending champions Spain overcame their first real test at the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women, coming back to hold off Ukraine 77-65 in Group F.
Vega Gimeno Martinez scored 25 points and Leonor Rodriguez tallied 14 points, four rebounds, eight assists and seven steals as Spain improved to 3-0 in the Qualifying Round.
Chloe Westelynck's 20 points paced six players in double figures as France rolled past Ukraine 101-70 in Group D of the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women.
The French forced 27 turnovers to finish off the group with a perfect 3-0 record while Ukraine dropped to 1-2 but also advanced to the Qualifying Round.
