Bourges got big games from their big people and beat Wisla Can-Pack Krakow 60-51 to clinch second place in Group B.

Sonja Kireta and Emmeline Ndongue, the French team's frontcourt stars from Croatia and France, respectively, combined for 23 points and 16 rebounds as Bourges improved to 6-4 and earned home court advantage in the eighth-finals.

Bourges won despite turning the ball over 22 times. What they did do well was dominate the boards, grabbing 46 rebounds to 23 for Wisla.

Bourges didn't run away with the victory, but they held off a Wisla Krakow side that was trying to bounce back from a surprise 14-point defeat to Jolly JBS Sibenik one week ago.

Candice Dupree's two free throws midway through the second quarter gave the visitors their last lead at 23-22.

But Kireta and Ndongue each hit baskets, and the excellent youngster Endene Miyem then scored the last four points of the half to give Bourges a 30-23 lead and they remained in front for the remainder of the game.

Wisla fell behind by as many as 17 points late in the third quarter, but battled back and pulled to within four points in the fourth quarter with 4:17 left to play.

An Anna De Forge jump shot with made it 52-48 and gave her 12 points on the night.

Belinda Snell, the Australia international, replied with a jumper for Bourges as they kept their noses in front.
