There's one true leader of Croatia: The unmistakable figure and enormous presence of Lelas. A real warrior, the 30-year-old is the do-it-all driving force of the national team. Feisty, passionate and talented in equal measures, she mixes it up across the floor, with an impressively aggressive and yet composed manner. She can play on the wing or get inside and her leadership and experience is priceless. The respective performances of Lelas often dictate the outcome of games involving Croatia, such is her importance and so it is a good thing she has a multi-faceted game. She can make shots from three-point range and defensively, she is a kingpin. She has been enjoying huge success at club level, following her titles with Bourges by winning more silverware in Montpellier.
