Gundars Vetra's team, riding the home-court advantage they secured by finishing the regular season in first place, stormed into a big half-time lead but then had to hold on for dear life before beating Spartak 70-68. |

Spartak Moscow Region powered their way past Halcon Avenida on Sunday to become the first club ever to win the EuroLeague Women title three straight years. Diana Taurasi poured in a game-high 31 points and her fellow USA international Sue Bird contributed 13 with 10 assists as Spartak prevailed 85-70. |
