The first few minutes were tied, but later in the first period Sopron took control of the game. They played very well especially on defense using a lot of steals to score quickly. |

Carichieti and Blex Praha met in their penultimate EuroLeague Women game with just pride on the line. Neither team can make the play-offs, but Carichieti were certainly looking for revenge for their 61:57 loss in Prague.
The game was actually decided in the first quarter, even though it remained close until the end. Blex struggled in the opening period while Carichieti looked to Brazilian center Kelly Santos for their scoring punch. |

Reigning EuroLeague Women champions UMMC Ekaterinburg are currently the hottest team in the competition, having recorded 7 consecutive wins. Victims tonight were visiting club USK Blex Praha, who suffered a 76:46 defeat at the hands of the Russian champions.
Before the game started, representatives of the Czech Council General in Ekaterinburg were invited onto the floor to wish everybody good luck and a fair game. UMMC did not seem to take much heed of the plea, however, as they raced away to a 13:3 lead. |
