Golden Girls From Spain Beat Belgium In Final Thriller

In a fitting finale to a superb tournament, reigning champions Spain edged out Belgium 57-53 to secure back to back gold medals as Naples was treated to another incredible overtime thriller.

Andrea Vilaro showed why she made the All Tournament Team with another stellar display as she claimed a superb double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Belgium Destroy French Title Dreams

A typically sparkling display from center Emma Meesseman was the highlight of another stunning Belgium performance as they booked their place in the Final with a 73-58 demolition of France.

Meesseman was scintillating with 18 points, 15 rebounds and 5 blocks to cement her place as one of the leading contenders for tournament MVP.

Belgium Beat Greece For Sixth Straight, Go To Semis

Belgium star Emma Meesseman produced arguably the biggest performance of the entire tournament as she helped her team book a semi-final spot against France or Turkey with a 74-60 win over Greece.

It was a truly breathtaking effort that left a beaming Belgium Coach Daniel Goethals in awe of her final line of 19 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks - all against Greek star Artemis Spanou.
