The only teenager to be called up to the 21-strong initial list for the tournament, the small forward has been so impressive that it has been impossible to ignore her rapid development after a spectacular 12 months. Ayayi helped France make history last summer when she was an essential part of the team which stepped onto the top of the podium at the U18 European Championship Women for the first time. Ayayi then moved back to her hometown club Basket Landes, for a first season in the LFB and also a brilliant rookie campaign playing in EuroCup Women where she averaged double-digits in scoring. Whilst possessing the kind of versatile skills needed by any player patrolling the wing, her particular speciality is crashing the glass to super effect. |
