Printezis holds a unique distinction among the vast majority of basketball players. Greek media and fans had to invent a new term to describe his quirky trademark move, that quick-release shot from the low-post which resembles, remotely, a semi-hook. It is unlikely any coach will ever encourage young players at a basketball camp to imitate the shooting form of the veteran Greek power forward but nobody has ever doubted its tremendous effectiveness. The Printezis semi-hook was certainly fast enough at the buzzer to win for Olympiacos the first of their back-to-back Euroleague titles, in 2012. Printezis is not the biggest at his position but he is extremely mobile and a tremendous fighter who thrives in the most heated moments of the biggest battles. Expect Printezis to be among Greece's leading scorers and rebounders from day one in Zagreb and only contribute more the further they progress in the tournament.
