The rising star of the national team and the brightest forward of a new generation in Belarusian basketball is still to prove herself at senior level. She's been the indisputable leader of all national youth teams she has appeared for and has already broken into the main squad with a great ambition to shine. But her progress stalled a bit after a club season in Belgium and time with Tsmoki-Minsk which has been full of ups and downs. Papova is still the great prospect with unlimited potential, both in attack and defence, but needs to perform more consistently and be more disciplined, if she wants to become a true European star. She is maybe stuck by being a tweener between the small and power forward positions and her decision-making is sometimes not quick enough for a charismatic leader. But with passionate individual work and close co-operation with her more experienced team-mates, she could still be one of the brightest discoveries at EuroBasket Women 2015.
