Coach Kostas Flevarakis, Sweden:
Slovakia is a very dangerous team. We knew that we had to maintain maximum concentration for 40 minutes. We lost the rebounding 27-42 but still won the game. I am happy to work with these guys. They come to work every day.
Player Mats Levin, Sweden:
We played really well. Especially in five-on-five defense. But in the second half we lost our rythm. Thanks to our ability to step up in defense and close down completely on a few occations, we came out victorious.
Coach Milan Carnicky, Slovakia:
Sweden is a good and experienced team. 6-16 in the turnover category shows that experience was on their side. We are a young team that still is learning to play together. We expected a tough game and we almost surprised them. Beaucse of rebounding and patience we were able to get close a few times, but Sweden deserved the win
Player Gabriel Szalay, Slovakia:
I liked this new arena and I think it's good for the city of Norrköping where I used to play. I know Kenny [Grant] from summer league play in New York City and I liked his performance tonight. It wasn't that easy to play against another experienced player like [Joakim] Kjellbom.
