Telekom Baskets Bonn won at home against BC "Minsk-2006" on Wednesday night to create a four-team logjam in EuroChallenge Group G.

The Germans prevailed 93-81 with Jared Jordan's 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds leading the way.

Telekom Baskets, Minsk, Türk Telekom and Pinar Karsiyaka all have 2-2 records.

The pivotal phase in the contest came at the beginning of the second quarter, with Bonn on top 20-18.

Jordan caught a pass from Chris Ensminger and connected from behind the arc before Zvonko Buljan dunked on a fast-break after being fed by Jordan.

Justin Knox hit a jumper for Minsk, but Buljan answered with a three-ball and Ensminger dunked to push Telekom Baskets' advantage to 30-20.

Bonn had their noses in front to stay.

They took a 49-37 lead to the half-time and stretched the advantage to 17 in the third quarter before going to the final frame on in front, 74-62.

Minsk, who lost for the second straight game, got no closer than 10 points in the last quarter.

They were led by their inspirational shooting guard Aliaksandr Kudrautsau, who had a game-high 23 points.

Both teams scored a lot of points from long range with Telekom Baskets nine of 20 and Minsk eight of 17.

Buljan was one of six Bonn players in double digits in points with 18.

COACH QUOTES

Quotes Telekom Baskets vs. BC "Minsk-2006"

Telekom Baskets head coach Michael Koch:

"This is a huge win for us. At halftime our team realized we could win this game and did not lose control of it. We did play a lot more organized and stable. We were able to rest and put some pressure off of our starter‘s shoulders through good bench play. Our second unit showed great confidence and were a key factor to win the contest. Looking at the close race in our group we have to show up prepared and be ready when we face Turk Telekom next week."

Telekom Baskets player Fabian Thülig:
"We are happy about winning this important game plus the tie-breaker. We played well as a unit, but never really had a chance to relax until the final buzzer sounded."

Minsk 2006 head coach Andrei Krivonos:
"We had a bad start into the game and could not recover quickly enough. After the intermission we wer able to cut the deficit, but we were lacking confidence to at least win the tie-breaker in the end."

Minsk 2006 player Rostislav Vergun:
"Congratulations to the Bonn team and their fans. With this crowd behind them it is hard to withstand. You could see Bonn was well-prepared and did learned from their failures that cost them our first meeting."
