Along with showcasing their basketball skills on the court, the EuroLeague Women All Star players also demonstrated their desire to help the community.

In between practices prior to the games, hundreds of kids from local schools got a chance to meet some of the best basketball talents in the world.

The kids lined up for autographs and pictures with all 24 players taking part in the game.

Later in the day, Amaya Valdemoro, Laia Palau, Elisa Aguilar, Dalma Ivanyi, Agnieszka Bibrzycka and Evanthia Maltsi visited schools.

Along with signing more autographs, the players addressed the students.

“This is the least of what we can do to give back,” said Bourges’ Maltsi.

“It is our responsibility.”

“It is necessary that we do this,” added Ros Casares’ Elisa Aguilar.

“It is a great way for people to get to know us and of course, it’s always nice to spend time with kids.”
