A great competitor who emerged from the French Federation INSEP programme and then played for Coach Vincent at Bourges for several years, Miyem is a core member of the national team and is reaching the peak of her career. A handful inside for opposing defences, she uses her aggressive approach to battle for rebounds and get to the hoop. She is also highly adept at picking up any trash in the paint with put-backs and hustle plays. A former French Young Player of the Year, she was outstanding a couple of years ago at the FIBA World Championship for Women when she showed her importance by leading the way in points and rebounds. She comes into the summer having epitomised the spirit of Bourges, who fought their way to third place at the EuroLeague Women Final Eight. |
