Two teams competing in Nitra: Romania and Ukraine are wearing a new uniform designed by the manufacturer TUTA in cooperation with FIBA Europe. |

Ozge Yavas made a pair of free-throws with 12 seconds left in the game as Turkey held off the Ukraine 74-72 in the U18 European Championship for Women. The Turks scored the first 11 points of the game and looked on their way to a straight-forward enough win as they took a 47-38 half-time lead, thanks to a three-point clinic in the first half. |

Lithuania scorched the Ukraine with six three-pointers in the second quarter to secure a 71-52 win in the U18 European Championship for Women. Aurime Rinkeviciute hit four of seven attempts from downtown in the first half to help Lithuania remain one of only two teams - France being the other - still undefeated (4-0) in the tournament. Marina Solopova had a team-high 16 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists. |
