Samara overcame the dissapointment of their weekend Russian cup final loss to rivals Ekaterinburg with a comprehensive victory over Delta ICP Kosice in the EuroLeague Women play-offs.

The contest was never close as Kosice found themselves outclassed by Samara's international superstars.

Slovak Republic: Bielikova Joins Kosice

Former Slovakia captain Iveta Bielikova has joined Delta Kosice from Sopron.

Bielikova, the most experienced Slovakian woman basketball player, has left to find more court-time, despite having a contract with Sopron until the end of the season.

Delta ICP 72 vs. Dynamo 89

Wednesday night's EuroLeague match-up between Delta Kosice and Dynamo Moscow was a poignant one for home side Kosice.

Not only did they bid farewell to the EuroLeague for this season, virtue of their 72-89 loss, but they also said goodbye to Gwen Slaugher who is returning to the USA.
