Ukraine Claim Fifth Place, Turkey Seventh
Alina Iagupova and Olesia Malashenko combined for 45 points to lead Ukraine to an 82-64 victory over Lithuania to claim fifth place at the U20 European Championship for Women.

Burcu Cigli and Safiye Karaman both scored 13 points and Ozge Yavas added 12 points as Turkey knocked off Serbia 68-46 to finish seventh in the tournament.

Lithuania And Ukraine To Play For Fifth
Lithuania and Ukraine will face off for fifth place at the U20 European Championship for Women after they beat Serbia and Turkey, respectively, in the 5th-8th place classification games.

Giedre Paugaite collected 19 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and four blocks in leading Lithuania to a 63-59 victory over Serbia. And Alina Iagupova had 26 points, seven rebounds, 11 assists, six steals and three blocks as Ukraine beat Turkey 74-55.

Capacity Crowd Helps Push Latvia Past Turkey
Anete Klintsone hit a crucial three-pointer in the final minute as Latvia held off Turkey 64-57 to set up a semi-final showdown with Spain at the U20 European Championship for Women.

Klintsone had 17 points, five rebounds and four assists while Sabine Niedola collected 12 points and nine rebounds in Latvia's victory in Liepaja. Kristine Vitola added 13 points and Liene Priede chipped in 10 points.

Spain Top Group, Turkey Third
Four players scored in double figures to lead undefeated Spain to an 80-57 victory over Turkey to claim first place in their qualifying round Group F at the U20 European Championship for Women.

Marta Xargay and Vega Gimeno each scored 13 points while Marta Tudanca added 12 points and Leonor Rodriguez had 10 points in pushing Spain to a perfect 5-0 record in the group. Vanessa Ble chipped in six points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in the victory.
