Belgium claimed the European Under-18 Basketball Championship Division B crown as they cruised to an 86-58 win over Ukraine in the final.
Jean Marc Mwema was the star for the Belgians as he claimed 16 points and six rebounds in a match which saw the eventual winners blow away their opponents in a scintillating third-quarter performance.
Ukraine and Belgium will meet tonight in the finals of the UMCOR U18 European Championship Men, Division B taking place in Sofia.
Both participants booked their place with impressive wins.
Belgium took a perfect 4-0 record into the last eight of the U18 European Championship Division B in Sofia following a 74-56 victory over Slovakia.
It was far from easy for the Belgians however, who were trailing 41-27 at half-time before an extraordinary fightback in the second half which saw them score 47 points to Slovakia's 15.
Belgium continued their unbeaten start to the U18 European Championship Division B in Sofia with a 75- 64 win over Austria.
The Belgians now lead Group A with a 2-0 record, with Czech Republic in second after their 80-65 victory against neighbours Czech Republic.
