Scotland Set Up Final With Monaco

Scotland will face the Principality of Monaco in the final of the U16 European Championship for Women Division C after contrasting semi-finals on Friday.

Scotland enjoyed an 82-28 blowout of Cyprus, but the Principality had a far tougher time seeing off hosts Andorra 37-36.

Monaco, Cyprus Seal Semi-Final Places

Cyprus and the Principality of Monaco both advanced to the semi-finals of the U16 European Championship for Women Division C with victories on Thursday.

Cyprus needed overtime to beat Malta but eventually prevailed 51-40 after not allowing a single point in the extra period.

The Principality of Monaco have gone to the top of Group A after beating Malta 50-39 at the U16 European Championship Women, Division C.

Paloma Paje-Rius led the way with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
