Uros Slokar has never missed a summer with his Slovenian senior national team since his first appearance at EuroBasket 2005 and has been a significant part of the generation of Slovenian national team players that achieved the biggest successes in the history of Slovenian basketball. Slokar has a solid all-round game and can be found mostly on the baseline, or using a quick first-step to get to the hoop. He still needs to toughen up a little in the paint and get smarter, as he is relied upon to try and dominate in that facet of the game. At times he fouls easily and can be out-powered when boxing-out. He is however a genuine three-point threat and this summer will be no exception, despite the option for him to play some minutes at the ‘5', together with Gasper Vidmar.
