Having only tasted the briefest of court time at EuroBasket Women 2011, Evdokia Stamati will be hoping for more of an opportunity this time around after a solid season which recently saw her play in the Greek All Star game. Fresh from leading FEA Neas into the Greek Championship Final, the guard brings lots of experience from not only being involved two years ago in Latvia but also playing in EuroCup Women two seasons ago with Baschet ICM Arad of Romania. She finished last season as the top scorer for her club and as well as offensive firepower her tenacity on defence could be utilised. She finished as one of the leaders in steals in the Greek league. Stamati also represented her country at various youth levels. |
