There's little doubt that Ivegin is one of the unsung heroes of the recent rise to prominence of Turkish women's basketball, since she is a dream to both play with and coach. She is a tireless worker, plays relentless defence, has a range of skills and can knock down a flurry of triples to take games away from her opponents in a flash. Whilst being the primary weapon against zone defence, she isn't prolific but more expected to come up with essential cameos every few games. She plays every game like it is her last and her influence and importance can be measured by the time she spends on the floor. She had the third biggest number of minutes for Turkey two years ago and remained a key part of the core rotation last summer. Defence and court-smarts make her a trusted favourite.
