Career: Ruta Siauliai (Lithuania-LMKL, 2007-08), Tallin Kalev (Estonia-Meistrilliga, 2008), Ruta Siauliai (Lithuania-LMKL, 2008-10), MRU Vilnius (Lithuania-LMKL, 2010-11), Laisve Kaunas (Lithuania-LKML, 2011)
While Lina Aglinskaite didn't make the cut last summer for the Qualifying Round, after being named on the preliminary roster, she has perhaps now impressed enough at club level to convince Coach Paulauskas ahead of EuroBasket Women 2011 that she could be worth a spot on the roster. The guard started 2010-11 with MRU Vilnius but then made the switch to Laisve Kaunas during mid-season and produced strong numbers with both teams. She not only offers an option on the perimeter, but she is also happy getting inside and rebounding for the team too. Aglinskaite helped her country achieve promotion to Division A at the U20 European Championship Women in 2007. |
