Team 2012-13: San Antonio Spurs (USA-NBA) Career: Cholet Basket (France-Pro A, 2005-09); Valencia (Spain-ACB, 2009-12), San Antonio Spurs (USA-NBA, 2012-13) De Colo is making his third EuroBasket appearance for France, having had his senior debut for Les Bleus in 2008 against Israel. He was a part of the side which took silver in 2011. He arrives in Slovenia following a debut season in the NBA which saw him feature alongside French teammates Tony Parker and Boris Diaw in San Antonio's run to the NBA Finals, playing in two games of their series with the Miami Heat. He was originally drafted in 2009 by the Spurs (53rd overall). Previously, he had three years in the Spanish league with Valencia, helping the club to the ACB Finals in 2011 and victory in the Eurocup in 2010. During four seasons in France with Cholet, he was MVP in their French Cup win of 2008 as well as the MVP of the Pro A All Star Game that same season. His elder sisters Sandy and Leila played professional basketball in France, as did both his parents.
