Captain for Maccabi Tel Aviv, Yogev Ohayon isn't looking to remember the past season that hasn't panned out well for his club. Ohayon recently signed a three-season partnership extension with Maccabi, with whom his first goal and main focus will be to regain ownership of the Israeli League and reclaim the national title. Ohayon was one of the lone men standing for the yellow-and-blue during an injury-prone season, seeing three of Maccabi's five starters fall to injuries. Ohayon missed the previous national team campaign due to illness, but hopes to resurrect his international brand in the backcourt alongside Gal Mekel. His defence is a lock thanks to his strong legs and athletic abilities. Ohayon, who can slice into the lane at will, also improved his stroke from the perimeter and has become a threat from three-point range.
