After our defeat against Ireland we had a day off where we just relaxed, went swimming and most importantly spent a nice day together. I must say, we had lots of fun and recharged our batteries for our next game. And I would also thank the parents for having taken us out for the afternoon. |

Latvia finished top of Group F after a 79-46 triumph over the Netherlands and Belgium came second following a 67-51 victory over Hungary. |

Slovenia and Greece won their opening games in Group E of the Qualifying Round for first to eighth place at the U18 European Championship Division B in Skopje. The Slovenians trounced Germany 78-50 with Nika Baric and Teja Oblak each pouring in 19 points. |

Greece clinched first place in Group A of the U18 European Championship for Women Division B in Skopje, FYR Macedonia, with a 60-47 triumph over Germany. In a contest between two undefeated sides on Sunday, Angeliki Nikolopoulou and Aikaterini Kontali each scored 15 points for the Greeks. |
