I am still pinching myself after watching another excellent EuroLeague Women Final Four. Last year in Vidnoje it was great.

This year in Brno, it was even better.

ZVVZ Prague ended their EuroLeague Women on a winning note after beating Jolly JBS Sibenik 69-59 in a battle of teams that had no chance of advancing to the eighth-finals.

Both Prague and Jolly JBS finished with 3-7 records in Group C.

Michala Hartigová and Lindsay Whalen each finished with 15 points and Michaela Feranciková had 14 for Prague, who took the lead for good less than two minutes into the game.

Jolly JBS, playing away from home, closed the gap to 15-13 but a Hartigová three-all provided the hosts with a five-point lead at the end of the first quarter.

Twice in the second quarter, Prague opened up leads of nine but they had a 34-29 advantage at the break as Sibenik kept the game close.

But they would never seriously threaten the home side the rest of the way, with Prague leading by at least five points for the remainder of the game.
