I am still pinching myself after watching another excellent EuroLeague Women Final Four. Last year in Vidnoje it was great.

This year in Brno, it was even better.

Russia international Tatiana Shchegoleva led a balanced scoring attack with 19 points as Spartak Moscow Region tore apart Dynamo Moscow 98-58 to reach the EuroLeague Women Final Four.

Natalia Hejkova's team, who beat Ros Casares in last year's final, needed just two games to finish off Dynamo who had to play without FIBA Europe Women's Player of the Year Anete Jekabsone-Zogota.

The Latvian superstar missed both contests because of a shoulder injury.

Lauren Jackson and Diana Taurasi had 16 points apiece, Sue Bird 14 and Tina Thompson 11 in Spartak's win.

Spartak dominated the boards, out-rebounding Dynamo 49-34.

Shchegoleva, who will represent Russia at the Olympics later this year, had a team-high nine.

Spartak, who never trailed in the game, led 29-28 midway through the second quarter when a Jackson three-point play sparked a 10-2 run that Dynamo never recovered from.

The hosts briefly reduced the deficit to six points but went to half-time trailing 50-38.

Hejkova's team easily pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring Dynamo 23-10 to open up a 73-48 advantage.

In the fourth period it got worse for the home side as Spartak held them to just 10 more points again in cruising to a 40-point win.

Spain international Nuria Martinez scored 14 points and emerging USA star Seimone Augustus had 12 along with eight rebounds for Dynamo.
