I am still pinching myself after watching another excellent EuroLeague Women Final Four. Last year in Vidnoje it was great.

This year in Brno, it was even better.

MKB Euroleasing broke open a close game at the start off the second and cruised to a 78-55 victory in Sopron over TTT Riga.

Leading 34-31 late in the first half, the Hungarian hosts had all they could handle against Riga, who boast a very good line-up that includes a couple of Latvian national team players in Ieva Tare andd Zane Eglite.

But the wheels came off for Ainars Cukste's team after the restart.

Trailing 36-31 at the break, Riga were outscored 9-0 to begin the third quarter and never recovered.

The run actually began at the end of the second period, when Albena Branzova scored for a five-point interval lead.

The advantage ballooned to 51-32 midway through the third quarter and MKB rolled to victory.

Olexandra Gorbunova of Ukraine led MKB with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
