I am still pinching myself after watching another excellent EuroLeague Women Final Four. Last year in Vidnoje it was great.

This year in Brno, it was even better.

Rebecca Hammon, Ilona Korstin and Olga Arteshina made lay-ups in the order - Korstin added a free three for a three-point play - as CSKA reeled off seven straight points for a 64-54 lead.

The rout was on.

Svietlana Volnaya stopped the bleeding with a basket for Fenerbahce, but Wauters and Stepanova (16 pts, 7 rbs) combined to score the next 10 points on jump shots and lay-ups to build a commanding 74-56 lead with 4:04 left to play.

The rest of the contest was an exercise in damage limitation for Fenerbahce, who trimmed their deficit to nine points at 74-65 with 1:18 remaining but go no closer.

Tammy Sutton-Brown had 17 points, Volnaya 15 and Pondexter 14 for Fenerbahce, who dropped to 6-3 but remained in second place in Group A.
