|Agnieszka Bibrzycka was on fired for the home team against her compatriots|
The Turkish powerhouse extended their perfect record to thirteen games as they wore down their Polish opponents who weren't helped by the absence of the injured former EuroLeague Women winner, Janel McCarville.
The visiting team competed valiantly for lengthy periods and it was still a one-shot game early in the second quarter, before the home side posted a 16-5 burst to move 35-22 in front after a score by Les Bleues center, Isabelle Yacoubou.
Veteran Jelena Skerovic did her best to haul Polkowice back into contention and stop Fenerbahce storming away as she reduced the arrears to single figures shortly after half-time, with a nice looking jump-shot.
But, Polish star Agnieszka Bibrzycka found her range against her former team and got Fenerbahce ticking over again.
Polkowice eventually ran out of steam as they acknowledged a salvage effort was to be in vain and the home side added a thicker veneer to the final score line by converting 10 of the last 13 points.
Magdalena Leciejewska shone for Polkowice with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists, whilst Bibrzycka top scored for Fenerbahce with 16 points.
Roberto Inıguez, Fenerbahce coach:
“We played well. I am happy that we were so aggressive, congratulatıons. Now we should start thinking about the second game.”
Birsel Vardarlı, Fenerbahce:

Jacek Winnicki, CCC Polkowice coach:
